Working on Montana Rooted “Pineapple Express” took me to two of my favorite spots in Montana and Idaho. We filmed an amazing ocean surfer who moved from Hawaii to Montana to pursue his career in meteorology. When he arrived in Montana, he discovered surfing river waves. Brennan’s Wave in downtown Missoula and Pipeline on the Lochsa River are amazing waves to surf in two incredible settings.
